You know your way. I'm the helping hands.
I became a Profesional Birth Assistant because I noticed that woman in
my community need to have uninterrupted support during labor. It was
especially important to me when I realized how unsupported young,
single or women of color were. As a woman of color who became a mother
at a young age, I reflected on my birth experience and realized it
could have been better. It wasn't bad. It was managed. That is not what
I wanted but what happened. I have made it my mission to help women
feel empowered about their birthing experiences and trust in themselves while having steady support.
